Sake brewery introduction :Yamamoto Honke

Established in 1677, Yamamoto Honke has continued to brew sake that is ideal as a food sake, using over 300 years of traditional techniques and famous “Hakugikusui” water. The main brand, “Sacred”, is aimed at making sake with a pleasant taste that is typical of Fushimi’s sake. The company is also proud to be a part of the food culture of tomorrow by reevaluating the relationship between food and sake that has been integrated into Japanese culture, as represented by “Matsunosui,” which was named by the Omotesenke Jimyo Sai Sen Sousa, the head of the Omotesenke family. The “Torisei Honten” opened in a converted sake brewery in 1976, and as a pilot store, it listens directly to consumers’ opinions and uses them to create sake that meets the needs of the times.
