Kyoto Yuzen Saree
Made in Kyoto – Kyoto Tegaki Yuzen and artistic dyeing has been cultivated in Kyoto over a long history and tradition.
Kyoto Tegaki Yuzen involves at least 14 to 15 different processes. It is created under the creative vision of the master dyer as the culmination of a comprehensive art, technique, and design of “dyeing” that includes embroidery and crests. Kyoto Tegaki Yuzen pursues both the “beauty of women” and “beauty of yuzen” and is a dyed fabric and decoration created to enrich the beauty of women.
The strength of Kyoto Tegaki Yuzen is the ability to produce products in small lots and, ultimately, a one-of-a-kind production system that can meet the needs of various consumers. We are proposing the creation of products for the global market by taking advantage of this ability to offer ultimate original products, as well as single pieces that are all different in design, pattern, and color.
We have developed this “Kyoto Yuzen Sari” using this Kyoto Tegaki Yuzen. The sari is the national costume of India. Finding a connection between the sari and Japan’s kimono as a national costume, we are attempting to explore the true value of Kyoto Tegaki Yuzen
