The first sparkling nigori-zake was introduced in 1964. It was also called the original “champagne of rice. The fruity aroma, refreshing acidity and gaseous sensation, and pleasant thirst-quenching taste make it the perfect sake to quench your thirst with appetizers.

Sake brewery introduction :Masuda Tokubei Shoten

One of the oldest sake breweries, founded in 1675 [Enpo 3] in Toba-Fushimi. With the construction of Heian-kyo (794), the main building and the sake brewery are located across the Toba Kaido (Toba no Sakudo), which runs straight south from Rajomon (the entrance to Heian-kyo).” The original brewery of nigori (nigori sake) and koshu (old sake).
